Samantha Fernandez serves as a Financial Advisor at Frey Masterson Investment Advisors, an independent office of Raymond James Financial Services. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Florida in 2011, marking the inception of her journey in the financial services sector with Raymond James.
Throughout her tenure, Samantha has held various roles, enabling her to cultivate a diverse skill set. Her role in Compliance equipped her with a strong understanding of industry and firm regulations. In 2013, she transitioned to Asset Management Services, assuming the role of an Asset Management Consultant responsible for providing support to over 500 Raymond James branch offices across Florida. Samantha’s experience in collaborating with private money management firms is instrumental in facilitating the team’s access to professional research and the delivery of an institutional approach for our valued clients.
In 2018, Samantha became Assistant Division Manager in the Southeast for Raymond James Financial Services. In this capacity, she played a pivotal role in guiding independent offices associated with Raymond James in enhancing and expanding their practices. Her responsibilities also briefly included the recruitment of financial advisors to join the ranks of Raymond James.
Samantha’s expertise and wealth of knowledge, cultivated through her research and leadership roles at Raymond James corporate, seamlessly transferred when she joined Frey Masterson Investment Advisors as a Financial Advisor.
Samantha holds the Series 7 and Series 66 industry licenses, as well as the Series 24 industry principal license. She furthered her education by completing her MBA at the University of Florida in 2019. Outside of her professional pursuits, Samantha finds fulfillment in her hobbies, including woodworking and home DIY projects. She cherishes quality time with her family and enjoys outdoor activities.
